You might say I started at the top. Early in my career – I no longer do the math or count the years – I had the good fortune to learn from the very best. Working for more than a decade with the most senior leaders at Spencer Stuart and Heidrick & Struggles. Conducting hundreds of executive level and board searches for many of the most respected companies and brands in the world. For all I learned, it was the unexpected lessons that would change me forever.
Even the biggest and the best companies confront limitations resulting from their size. I learned even long-satisfied clients seek innovation and new ideas. I also discovered that the most satisfying solutions are the result of creative, nimble, and open-minded thinking. The impact of this became two promises I made about our process.
